On our first day in DC we had the opportunity to visit the Museum of Natural History. Afterwards we went in to the bottom of this Smithsonian museum with our friends for a Friday night get together that has been meeting for 50 years. The Smithsonian scientists get together each Friday night in the basement of the museum (which is where their offices are). I have to admit it was pretty cool to see manuscripts and items that are not on display but are used for research purposes.

The best asian fusion restaurant is on 10th and Pennsylvania... 10 Penn is its name (clever, huh?)mmmmm... makes me want to go back.
